Hello Exciting
news, applications for our Stronger Starts Retail Apprenticeship programme
are now open! This is one of the few apprenticeship programmes
that doesn’t require young people to have any qualifications or experience
when they start. After completing the
programme, they’ll gain a Level 2 National Standard in Retail which is the
equivalent of 5 GCSE passes. The apprenticeship is delivered by our partner
Lifetime Training and will take a minimum of 12 months to complete. The
programme will include a blend of learning activities and hands-on experience
on the shop floor. Those joining without a GCSE grade pass or equivalent in
maths and English, will gain these during the programme. We know that the transition from education to the
world of work can be a daunting, so we have a network of people to support
them every step of the way, this includes expert 1-1 pastoral support from
The King’s Trust, a dedicate Lifetime Training coach as well as our friendly
store team. To find out more about
The King’s Trust and how they can support click here
to find out more. Why
not head over to our website to find out more about the application process
and pick up some helpful hints and tips before you apply. Find
out more and apply,
but hurry as roles fill up fast. Please can you share this exciting opportunity
with students, parents and carers. Best wishes The Stronger Starts Retail Apprenticeship Team |

Bright Sparks
Bright Sparks is our week-long work experience scheme which takes place in our Bristol office, and is available for applications from students in years 10-12. Travel, accommodation (where necessary) and food expenses are paid throughout the week.
In 2026, it is taking place on the following dates:
Deadline for Bright Sparks applications: 2nd January 2026.
Student information days
We are holding 2 x student information days in March 2026 at our Bristol office. One of the days will be tailed to A Level stage students (10th March) and the other will be tailored to GCSE stage students (12h March).
These information days give students the opportunity to gain
an insight into a legal career from our lawyers, trainees and apprentices. They
will also hear from business professionals across the firm, partake in an
interview skills and application tips workshop, and hear about the
opportunities we have to offer.
Students can register for this below – there are limited spaces, so we do encourage them to sign up quickly:
Registration for our
Student Information Days closes on 2nd January 2026.
