University of Exeter - Realising Opportunities

The University of Exeter has provided a range of virtual resources to help eligible Year 12 students apply to the Realising Opportunities programme. These resources can be found in one place on a bespoke webpage and includes information and a pre-recorded presentation. Here is a link to a webpage which enables students to access all of the application information and resources this year: https://www.exeter.ac.uk/exeterscholars/teachers/realisingopportunities/.

 Here, you can find:

  • A 15 minute video filmed by the University of Exeter RO team explaining the programme, its benefits and how to apply
  • Resources for students – a PowerPoint presentation (PDF) and an electronic student flyer
  • Resources for parents / carers – an electronic flyer
  • Details of an online drop-in Q&A session for any interested students or parents / carers to attend on Zoom to talk to the RO team at Exeter and ask any questions you might have about the RO programme

Students will need a Student Application Key (SAK) to submit your online application. The Student Application Key for Clevedon is:

 CLEVEDONDAVIES1

This year Exeter is trialing a blended approach to delivery of RO events and activities, with some being offered face-to-face and some being delivered virtually. Further information will follow about this, but Exeter is committed to ensuring that students get the same high-quality experience as always.

If students meet the eligibility criteria, now more than ever, they could really benefit from the additional support and opportunities that the RO programme provides.
