University of Bristol Opportunities

University of Bristol summer schools 2024

This year we are going to be running 3 different summer school programmes at The University of Bristol; our Virtual Summer School, Insight into Bristol summer school and the Sutton Trust summer school. Our summer schools are an excellent opportunity for students to learn about a particular degree topic and gain specialised information, advice and guidance on applying to and thriving in Higher Education.

Support for local and commuting students

For many students, living at home and commuting to university can be a great way to save money on accommodation and continue to be well supported by family or friends during their Higher Education journey. Commuting to university may also provide greater opportunity for students to support their family or friends with caring or any other responsibilities at home.

We've put together a handy website to help our local and commuter students start their University of Bristol story.

Don't forget, some local students may qualify for a guaranteed or contextual offer from the University.
