Weekly Roundup: 12th February

How Maths is Used in Different Career Roles (Focus: Yrs. 10 and 11)

We have signed up to a 30 min Zoom webinar on 4th March, between 10 – 10.30am, which will focus on the different career paths related to Maths and the benefits of studying the subject at Post 16 (A Level). The session will include different employers who will provide details of the different mathematical skills they value in the work place. STEM Ambassadors Online Mentoring Programme (Focus: Yrs. 12 and 13)

STEM Ambassadors are volunteers who inspire the next generation through STEM. The STEM Ambassador programme is launching an online mentoring scheme to help you feel more confident about your future. Mentoring will take place over a 10 week period. Over 400 ambassadors have signed up, ready to support up to 2,000 young people in exploring STEM career options, and helping you make informed decisions.
